I’m Dawn Clerkson — Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals UK, Level 3 Mat-Pilates Instructor, and certified Level 2 Sound Healing Practitioner.
Yoga has been a thread running through my life since childhood, shaping not just my physical body but my outlook and sense of self. I’ve been teaching since 2010, and in 2018 expanded into Pilates, which brought new depth and dimension to my offerings.
I love the variety in my work—one day grounding into breath and stillness, the next exploring movement, strength, and alignment. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone leave class with that unmistakable post-practice glow.
My own journey is ever-evolving; I continue to learn through research and professional development, seeking inspiration from respected teachers and new trends within both the Yoga and Pilates communities. There’s always something fresh to explore, and I love bringing new ideas to the mat.
My path into Sound Healing began unexpectedly, the first time I experienced a Gong and Sound Bath. Though I didn’t know what to expect, the resonance and vibrations awakened a deep sense of tranquility and connectedness within me that I hadn’t realised was missing. Inspired by this powerful experience, I trained as a Level 2 Sound Healing Practitioner to further explore and share this transformative practice.
My Sound Bath Healing sessions use gongs, singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments to create nurturing, immersive spaces. They are open to anyone seeking relaxation, release, clarity, or a deeper connection with themselves.
Whichever path brings you to your mat – Yoga, Pilates or Sound Healing – I aim to leave you shining from the inside out.
